Period Properties can easily be enhanced with simple classic wall panels, often built with detailed wall panelling, regrettably fashions
in years gone by, have seen many of these features removed. With some consideration, panels can be easily re-instated.
Heritage style panels are designed to replicate the simple design found in Victorian properties, usually found on sash window boxes and panels under the stairs.
Wall Panels are usually designed in three differing heights
depending on ceiling height, dado/chair rail will measure approximately 1 metre high, picture rail height, usually 1.8 metres – 2.1 high or full height to a decorative coving. Of course you can also use a mix of heights, creating feature walls along the way.
A true Victorian house can be enhanced by adding many of the features that are sometimes lost, through decades of trends and fashions, but in truth a property that can capture and retain it’s original style will always be in vogue.
