James and Ola Jordan Panelling

Last year we had the pleasure of working for James & Ola Jordan, James had seen us on Instagram and asked us to quote for their home, we were of course delighted when they accepted and I must say the panelling did transform a home which was quite a blank canvas! Truly lovely people to work for and we was also really grateful when James took to social media, to let all of his followers know that we did the work!

Oak Wall Panelling Study Makeover

Our client wanted to transform a former garage into a traditional oak wall panelled study, in keeping with the character of their listed home. To achieve this, we used American white oak veneer with solid oak mouldings, carefully tooled to recreate a true heritage style.

Every panel and moulding was precision cut, with skirting, dado rails, and a dentil cornice added for authenticity. The panels were then stained by hand, blending Jacobean and Medium Oak to highlight the natural grain, before being finished with two coats of lacquer.

The result was a timeless, elegant study that perfectly complemented the property’s architecture, and left our client delighted with the craftsmanship.

Harpenden Hertfordshire Makeover

Our client in Harpenden Hertfordshire was renovating a large house with specific ideas on design, choosing a classic Heritage panel feature, that would create a traditional elegance with a contemporary twist.

The project also had a strict time schedule to work within, which sometimes in our experience, Can be over optimistic….however our client was Ken Whittaker from John Curtis, Harpendens leading estate agents, a business well established and well recognised for their experience in the property market.

The project was run like clockwork and even finished 1 week ahead of schedule!

The finished product is a home that gives light and space and combines exactly those design ideas, that were first discussed, blending seamlessly a modern home with classic design appeal.

Brentwood Essex Victorian Makeover

Our Clients were looking to renovate their Victorian property in Brentwood Essex and one of their requirements was to replicate the classic look of our Heritage Wall Panels.

The panels have been designed to match many Victorian mouldings used for window shutters and cupboards in the Victorian period and can be fitted to make a unique and bespoke panel to enhance any home.

Each panel is made and fitted to the existing plastered walls and each detailed panel has been to cut & mitred accordingly. By making the panels on site you are able to make everything exact.

A true Victorian house can be enhanced by adding many of the features that are sometimes lost, through decades of trends and fashions, but in truth a property that can capture and retain it’s original style will always be in vogue.

The panels can also be used with original skirting and dado rails if they are already in place as the panels can be designed and fitted with only a 9mm thickness.

By using this method and keeping your existing skirting board, you eliminate the necessity to disturb your original floor, especially if this has the original tiles.
